A succesfull conference on health promoting schools in Moscow

After one year of preparation, the 5th European Conference of Health Promoting Schools was held in Moscow/Russia from 20 to 22 November. More than 450 participants from 40 countries discussed current developments and challenges of the Health Promoting School approach in 160 contributions and 9 keynotes. In addition to the discussion of content, there were numerous opportunities for networking and informal exchange, e.g. during a Moscow night city tour or the welcome reception with musical accompaniment. The results of the conference have been incorporated into the Moscow Statement on Health Promoting Schools.
