Green Environment and Sustainability in Health Promoting School

In the Netherlands a request from National Government ask the schools to study possibilities to broaden the scope of the national Healthy School Programme with topics of Green, Environment and Sustainability.

Sub-themes might for instance be indoor and outdoor environment, green playgrounds, plants in the classrooms, waste separation, food consumption, food waste, energy saving and climate change.

The Dutch national coordinator wants contact to persons from other Health Promoting School Programs in Europe who have incorporated this theme or any of the sub-themes in their program.
