Have a Nice Sleep!

In the Carolina Michaelis school group in Portugal, sleeping has been a subject in the health education. A competition was launched, aiming at all students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd cycle of basic and secondary education.

The students were told about the conditions for good sleep and the importance of respecting the sleep period, and exercises were made to promote and enhance the creativity of students. Then the students were making drawings for the competition. The winning design in each cycle will be printed on postcards and distributed to participating schools in September 2021. 

The competition “A Higiene do Sono” was promoted by the SleepApneaID team of the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology of the University of Coimbra (CNC-UC), the Portuguese Sleep Association (APS) and Gasoxmed Portugal.
